Moshe Yisraeli, 62, became more than another Israeli traffic fatality statistic on Sunday when he was killed trying to overtake a truck on his moped. Footage from a traffic control video camera showed cars maneuvering around the dead driving instructor's body and bike at a busy junction in the centre of the country, near Azur. It took more than a minute and a half before anybody stopped and tried to come to the fallen rider's aid. The accident was shown on Channel 10 news and the police have announced they will try and track down the vehicles that bypassed the fallen rider and charge the drivers with failure to provide aid.
